Orange County Utilities personnel can help you set your timer to meet the watering restrictions for your property.
Details
A certified irrigation technician from the Water Watch office will check the irrigation controller to ensure it is set according to the mandatory watering restrictions and that each zone is set on the correct amount of minutes depending on the type of sprinkler head. A rotor sprinkler head should run for 30 minutes, while a spray sprinkler head should run for 15 minutes. The technician is available to help the customer understand how to use the irrigation controller, if necessary. There is no charge for this service.
