What We Do
To meet the water demands of our customers, Orange County
Utilities has adopted a comprehensive water conservation program. Helping our customers reduce their water use provides real savings by lowering their energy and water bills and providing
long-term environmental benefits for the community..
Water Wise Neighbor Program
A tailored program that walks the customer step-by-step through achieving maximum water savings for their home. This one program qualifies the customer for all incentives available for their property.
Water Watch Program
Mandatory lawn watering restrictions specify the days when you may water. These days depend on whether you have an odd- or even-numbered address, and the time of year. Water Watch enforces mandatory watering restrictions.
Orange County Utilities is pleased to present its 2020 Annual Drinking Water Report, designed to inform you about the quality of the water we deliver every day. We are proud to report that the drinking water we produce meets or exceeds all federal and state water quality regulations.
Residential customers may request consideration for a rate adjustment for high water usage related to a lawn replacement. Please see form for more details.
Residential customers who experience unusually high water usage with a corresponding spike in their monthly water bill may be considered for a billing adjustment. Please see this form for details.
Orange County Utilities residential water customers who own a single-family dwelling and wish to replace their existing high-flow toilets [3.5 gallons per flush (gpf) or greater] may apply for this program. Vouchers are valued up to a $100 credit for replacement with a high-efficiency toilet using 1.28 gpf or less or a dual-flush toilet. There is a limit of two vouchers per household.
Please use this form to request an alternative watering day(s).
